Capabilities

The 2021 Suburban and Tahoe have the same three-engine lineup, but their capabilities are different. The Suburban has a maximum towing capacity of 8,000 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 1,759 pounds when properly equipped. The Tahoe, on the other hand, has a payload capacity of 1,834 pounds and can tow up to 8,400 pounds. In either case, you’ll be able to move a lot of stuff around South Loop West Houston Texas.

Interior room

The Suburban has slightly more passenger volume (181.9 cubic feet vs. 179.7 cubic feet in the Tahoe) for up to nine passengers. No matter how many seats are folded down, the Suburban has more cargo space. It has 41.5 cubic feet behind the third row, compared to 25.5 cubic feet in the Tahoe. The Suburban has a maximum cargo capacity of 144.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down, while the Tahoe has a maximum cargo capacity of 122.9 cubic feet. One of the reasons the Tahoe has a lower starting price is because of this.
